Training & Ongoing Support

You don’t need to know a condenser from a contactor to open a Meadowsweet Heating & Air location. You need to know how to run a business that treats people’s homes with care. We teach the rest. The Cedarwell family has spent two decades building a training system that takes someone with zero HVAC background to a confident owner-operator who can read a profit-and-loss statement, hire the right technicians, and know exactly what questions to ask when the July heat wave hits. No prior experience required. That’s not a marketing line. It’s how the model was built.

Initial Training

Your first weeks with us are structured, hands-on, and deliberately paced so nothing gets skipped. The training campus walks you through the operation side first: how to price a job, how to run payroll, how to read your numbers every week. Then you learn the trade itself, not so you’ll be turning wrenches yourself, but so you’ll know when a technician’s diagnosis makes sense and when a second opinion is warranted. We cover the software you’ll actually use daily: the dispatch system, the pricing tool that generates written quotes before work starts, the customer communication platform that sends follow-ups and photos of completed clean-ups. Hiring gets its own module because your people are the whole business. You’ll learn how to interview for the C.A.R.E. values, how to background-check consistently, and what questions separate a technician who respects a family’s home from one who just wants the job done. Marketing rounds out the initial phase: local search, service-area mapping, and how to talk about the 365-Day Done Right Promise without sounding like a brochure. By the time you leave training, you’ll have run practice calls, shadowed active locations, and built your first 90-day plan with our team. The goal isn’t to make you an expert in everything. It’s to make you dangerous at the things that matter: pricing, hiring, and keeping promises.

Launch Support

Opening week isn’t a solo event. A dedicated launch team works alongside you to get the phones ringing before your first technician ever pulls on the uniform. We set up your local marketing foundation: Google Business Profile, service-area pages, local directories, and a responsive website designed to convert calls. The lead engine goes live immediately. You’ll learn how to answer the phone the Meadowsweet way: a live person, every time, 24/7. No voicemail queue, no missed weekend calls. We train your first dispatcher on this before you open because the phone is where trust starts. First-jobs coaching is built into launch support. Your first ten service calls will have a support lead available to review the scope, check the written quote, and help you decide if a repair makes sense or a replacement is the honest recommendation. This is where the no-hassle upfront pricing standard gets reinforced: every customer gets a written price before any work starts, no exceptions. The launch team stays close for the first 90 days, then transitions you into the ongoing support channels without a gap.

Ongoing Support

Support doesn’t end after launch. It compounds. Here’s what every Meadowsweet owner can count on:

  • Field coaching: Regular ride-alongs with experienced operators who review your dispatch, pricing, and customer communication in real time. The C.A.R.E. values get reinforced on actual job sites, not in a classroom.
  • Marketing engine: Ongoing local SEO, paid search management, and seasonal campaign templates for AC season, furnace season, and tune-up season. Your service area stays visible year-round.
  • Vendor relationships: Access to national pricing agreements with nine brands: Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard. You stock what your market needs without overpaying.
  • Technology stack: Continuous updates to dispatch, pricing, and scheduling software so your back office stays fast. You won’t be managing five different tools.
  • National brand campaigns: Cedarwell runs brand awareness at the national level. Your local location benefits from recognition that’s already built when customers see the Meadowsweet name.
  • Peer network: Monthly owner calls where operators share what’s working in their markets. You’re never solving a problem someone else hasn’t already solved.
