Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Meadowsweet Heating & Air team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price HVAC Work
Every job at Meadowsweet Heating & Air is priced off a free written estimate – one price, for the specific work on your specific system, before anyone picks up a tool. No hourly rate ticking in the background. No plan to join, nothing to sign up for. Just a number in writing that covers the whole job.
That matters because HVAC surprises are stressful enough without a bill that moved while you weren’t looking. When you see the full price before work starts, you can make a real decision – not a guess. If the number works for you, we get started. If it doesn’t, you haven’t spent anything. The written estimate is the price. That’s the whole model.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
A Meadowsweet technician comes out, looks at the system, and tells you what’s going on and what it would cost to fix or replace it – in writing, before any work starts. The visit usually takes thirty to sixty minutes depending on what we find. At the end of it, you hold a written price and a clear explanation of the work. You’re not committed to anything. If you want time to think it over, take it. We’d rather you call us back tomorrow than feel rushed into a decision today.
When People Usually Call Us
Honest answer: most calls come in during the two weeks a year when the system is working hardest and failing fastest. First real heat wave of summer, the AC quits. First cold snap of fall, the furnace won’t light. We know that pattern well, and we staff for it.
But there’s a quieter window that’s worth knowing about. Spring and fall – before the heat arrives, after the cold breaks – are when scheduling is easiest, when technicians have more time to be thorough, and when a planned replacement can be done without the pressure of a family sitting in a house that’s 88 degrees or 48 degrees.
Luis Serrano, our owner and lead technician, puts it plainly: a system that hasn’t been looked at in several years is one hot afternoon away from a bad day. If you already know something’s been off – odd noises, rooms that won’t cool, a utility bill that doesn’t make sense – the calm part of the year is the better time to call. Not because we’re running a seasonal deal, but because you’ll get more of our attention when we’re not triaging six emergency calls before noon.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
A few things don’t change based on the job, the system, or the time of year.
- Written price before any work starts. Always. Not after the job, not estimated verbally – written, specific, and yours to review before we begin.
- Shoe covers and drop cloths inside the house. Every visit. We work on the equipment, not the floors.
- A photo of the clean-up before we leave. Not because we think you’ll check up on us – because it holds us to the standard we set ourselves.
- The 365-Day Done Right Promise. If the work isn’t right, we make it right. No runarounds, no fine print.
- A live person on the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Nights, weekends, holidays – you’ll reach a person, not a voicemail queue.
Meadowsweet is part of the Cedarwell family of HVAC companies, and every Cedarwell location operates to the same C.A.R.E. standard: Clean up like it’s our own home, Ask before moving anything, Respect the family’s time and quiet hours, Explain the price before the work. That’s not a slogan on a truck – it’s what Luis holds every technician to on every job.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. A Meadowsweet technician comes to your home, evaluates the system, and gives you a written price for the work – at no charge, with no obligation to proceed. You can say no, take time to think, or get a second opinion. The estimate visit costs you nothing either way.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
We don’t, and that’s deliberate. Every job is priced off a free written estimate – one clear number for the specific work, with nothing to sign up for and no recurring charges. If cost is a concern, the right conversation is the estimate itself, where the number is confirmed in writing before any work begins.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per visit. The written pricing, shoe covers, drop cloths, and clean-up photo are included on every job regardless – those aren’t offers, they’re just how we work.
Does the price change once you’re here?
No. The written estimate is the price. If a technician opens something up and finds an additional issue, we stop work, explain what we found, and give you a new written price before touching anything else. You decide whether to proceed. The original estimate doesn’t quietly expand – that’s not how we operate.

Call (747) 966-3037 any time – a live person answers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights and weekends. Or book online if that’s easier. Either way, a Meadowsweet technician will come out, take a look, and hand you a written price before any work starts. No surprises. Just a number you can count on.
